Made of leather
Pull-up leather, made of cowhide tanning with a large amount of oil dipping. Because leather is rich in oil, when it is pushed and bent by external force, the oil and dye on the surface will spread out to the surrounding area, and the color will become lighter, which is called “pull up”.
Leather characteristics
On the pull-up leather surface, because of the interaction between the oil wax and the leather base color, there will be a delicate and restrained luster at the leather turn, and the natural leather texture can be seen when you get closer. It is soft and rich to the touch, which is a good shoe fabric, and is also commonly used in the production of leather goods such as bags and leather clothing.
Compared to other types of leather, pull-up oil has a wide variety of colors, and is popular with many leather and leather goods brands, such as R.M. Williams, Tsuchiya Shovel, etc., all use pull-up to make classic products.
Maintenance method
Pull-up has some waterproof properties due to the large amount of oil on the surface. For basic maintenance, it is recommended to use a horsehair brush to remove dust, then rub a thin layer of transparent or similar color “Leather Nourishing Lotion”, and finally use “Leather Polishing Wax” to gently toss on the toe cap and sides of the heel.
